Questions about using training data
Start with a management question, then choose the records and context needed to answer it.
What can training reports help us understand?
Review participation, learning progress, completion, training demand and team development goals. Use these views to identify outstanding activity, discuss support needs and plan courses or resources around the groups that need them.
Does course completion prove that training was effective?
Completion confirms that a defined learning activity is finished. It does not by itself prove a change in workplace performance. Combine training records with relevant assessments, employee feedback and manager observations when reviewing outcomes.
How should we prepare reporting requirements?
Bring the questions your managers need answered, examples of existing reports, relevant employee groups and the decisions the reports support. Agree the required data and reporting scope alongside your platform implementation.
Can we export data for our own BI tools?
Yes. Because the platform is open source with a standard relational schema, your team can query the database directly or export through the reporting layer, and feed figures into existing dashboards without a vendor export licence.
Start with a management question, not a dashboard
Tell us the question your management asks most often about training. We will show you the report that answers it.
